Our Services
With our unique knowledge and expertise, we are able to provide the best possible solutions for our clients - whether that is servicing your existing equipment or installing an all-new configuration. We are committed to providing superior customer service and support, so you can rest assured that you are in good hands with OmniLyte.

New Installations
OmniLyte offers full consultancy on water treatment or water filtration systems for your operation. We have full-time technicians that can install and service your system. Since 2014, we have designed, installed, and serviced many successful ECA generator systems and reverse osmosis systems across North America.
With offices in Canada and the USA, OmniLyte offers a wide variety of machine options. Based on capacity, system specifications, and on-site space considerations, we can provide a free design quote including floor layout and a process diagram of the ECA system.

Refurbishments of Existing Systems
Our team can evaluate your existing electrolyzed water system and refurbish worn or aging components to restore performance. Whether it’s replacing critical parts, cleaning and recalibrating cells, or updating controls, we help extend the life of your investment while minimizing downtime and cost.

System Upgrades
As technology evolves, we offer upgrade services to enhance the functionality, efficiency, and automation of your OmniLyte Systems. From installing new PLC software updates to optimizing various systems upgrades or performing CIP System cleanings, we tailor each upgrade to meet the demands of your growing operation.

Repairs & Maintenance
We offer convenient on-site service for all our equipment, ensuring you always have the support you need. With our preventative and proactive maintenance program included in a service agreement, you'll benefit from a more cost-effective option compared to reactive one-off services. Plus, we keep an inventory of common spare parts on hand with overnight shipping to reduce wait times for shipping from manufacturers. Our experienced technicians are skilled at servicing systems from other manufacturers and ours, saving you both time and money.
Common Preventative Maintenance Tips
Regular preventative maintenance is key to keeping your system running smoothly and extending the life of your equipment. Here are a few simple tasks you can perform:
- Check and Refill Salt Levels: Ensure your brine tank has the correct salt concentration.
- Inspect Input Filters: Clean or replace any sediment or carbon filters on a regular schedule to maintain proper flow and protect the electrolytic cell.
- Flush the System: Run routine water flushes through the system (as recommended in your user manual) to help prevent scale buildup and clogging.
- Calibrate Sensors: If your unit has onboard pH, ORP, or flow sensors, follow the calibration schedule to ensure accurate readings.
- Check for Leaks or Loose Connections: Visually inspect hoses, connectors, and fittings for any signs of wear or leaks.
- Review PLC Alerts: Periodically check the control interface for error messages or maintenance alerts that may need attention.
By performing these simple tasks regularly, you can minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance. For anything beyond routine checks, OmniLyte’s service team is just a call away.
Troubleshooting Tips
System is producing low Free Available Chlorine (FAC)
System is producing low Free Available Chlorine (FAC)
This is often caused by incorrect salt concentration or scale build-up on the electrodes. Check that the brine solution is mixed correctly (typically ~0.15–0.3% NaCl) and inspect the cell for scaling. A quick flush and cleaning cycle may be needed.

First, confirm that your water and salt supplies are flowing properly. Then check for blockages or airlocks in the brine line. Ensure the PLC is showing normal operation and hasn’t triggered a safety shutdown.
Touchscreen is unresponsive or showing an error code
Touchscreen is unresponsive or showing an error code
Reboot the system safely following the shutdown procedure. If the issue persists, record the error code and contact OmniLyte service. Many error codes relate to sensor misreads or simple software resets.
The pH output is outside of the expected range
The pH output is outside of the expected range
This can be caused by a shift in source water quality or calibration drift. Use your onboard sensors or portable pH meter to verify. Calibrate your pH probes regularly and confirm that any pH regulation settings haven’t been altered.
System is running but output volume is low
System is running but output volume is low
Inspect flow meters and input filters for clogs. Also verify that pumps are operating at the correct speed and that no valves are partially closed. Low output is often a sign of reduced flow, not a system fault.
Service & Installation FAQs
