The Mechanical Engineering/Technologist provides assembly, installation, training, troubleshooting, commissioning, and after-sales service of equipment focused on Electrolyzed Water Generators (ECA), and water treatment equipment. The Mechanical Engineering/Technologist will work with the management, sales team, purchasing, and operations to achieve the company’s goal of providing service excellence to clients. He/She assists in understanding the customer’s project requirements and thoughtful planning. He is responsible for documenting all maintenance carried out and reporting issues encountered on sites and project sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare contracts and tender documents.
- Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare standards and schedules for the company’s projects
- Prepare cost and material estimates, project schedules, and reports
- Plan and manage projects and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems
- Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications and interpret conventional and computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for machines and components, power transmission systems, process piping, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
- Assembly, repairs, installs, dismantles, modifies, replaces and adjusts, tests clean, calibrates, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and maintains water treatment equipment/apparatus pumps, rectifies, VFD, PLC HMI relays.
- Assist the journeyman/electrical team with repairs, installations of electrodes, electric circuit breakers, pipes fittings, solenoid Valves, cable, instrumentation, and Network (preventive and predictive maintenance create manufacturing instructions
- Assist in inspecting mechanical installations in newly assembled skids/systems.
- Supervise and arrange maintenance programs for newly installed systems on the client’s site.
- Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
- Carrey out final test machines and equipment as per checklist before packing and shipping
- Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations
- Create manufacturing and user manuals for each model of machinery and improve existing ones if there are any add-ons
- Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs
