Mechanical Assembler

We seek a Mechanical Assembler to carry our assemblies and subassemblies and install water treatment equipment such as ECA generators and reverse Osmosis throughout North America. This position works on flexible 8—to 12-hour day shifts, on-site in our facility in Wawanesa, Manitoba, and at our client’s project sites, and includes travel primarily to various customer install sites in the USA and Canada.

Mechanical Assembler assembles mechanical and electrical components of our equipment, troubleshooting, commissioning, and after-sales equipment focused on Electrolyzed Water Generators (ECA), and water treatment equipment. With a strong ability to prioritize, they work as part of a team while still demonstrating independent problem-solving and taking self-initiative. With a strong background in electrical/mechanical instrumentation, they are willing to expand on training in various water treatment technologies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical/electrical parts into subassemblies
  • Interprets technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and relevant manuals/references to identify required repairs and recommended maintenance activities
  • Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fits and assembly.
  • Repairs, installs, dismantles, modifies, replaces, adjusts, tests, cleans, calibrates, troubleshoots, diagnose, and maintains water treatment equipment/apparatus pumps, rectifiers, VFD, PLC, relays, electrodes, electric circuit breakers, pipes, fittings, solenoids, valves, cable, instrumentation, Network (preventative and predictive maintenance); on-site and field.
  • Performs scheduled, emergency, and preventative maintenance work.
  • Cross-train to assemble and wire machines and controls to assist with production as needed
  • Test and check electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connection.
  • Adjust and repairs
  • Assist the electrician in repair, commissioning, and integration fieldwork.
  • Inspect finished products for proper functioning
