Chemical Technician

Reporting to the General Manager as a Chemical & Electrical Technologist, is responsible to maintain process control and instruments, systems, chemicals, and electrical equipment are in proper working at various customer facilities.

Specific Skills

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and apparatus and prepare solutions of gas and liquid, reagents and sample formulations; Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results

Thorough understanding of water treatment systems, design, ECA onsite generation, operation, installation and troubleshooting. Understanding of ionic chemistry and basic laboratory testing experience is required.

  • Minimum of 10 years of electrical and chemical technologist experience

  • Process equipment such as meters, pumps, compressors, valves

  • Pumps and pumping systems (gas and liquid)

  • Data acquisition and control instrumentation

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, various chemicals process equipment, instrumentation and wiring, lab setup, power, and hand tools, etc.

  • Design, fabrication, and assembly of custom components.

  • The candidate must also thrive in a team-oriented environment, as well as work well independently.

Area of Specialization

  • Expertise of Automation, Various system specific software. Efficient working on AutoCAD. 

  • In depth knowledge of PLC programming, Maple, Weintek and HMI programming and installation.

  • Proficient to design, assemble, upgrade Electrical Systems Conduct R & D

  • Adjust fluids specification and parameters of equipment run in accordance with customer’s demand.

  • Provide onsite installation of Anolyte Generators, It’s set up run, troubleshoot, train and demonstration to the client.  

  • Work with complex ECA systems to install, test and maintain instrumentation/diagnostics/water treatment equipment/apparatus

  • Perform water quality testing and make recommendations accordingly

  • Regular telephone consults and on-site visits and training to customers and end-users

  • Perform work in environments that could be hot, cold, dirty and/or fast-paced

  • Promotion and development of company product line and services

  • Setup, operation, calibration, and maintenance of Equipment

  • Analytical and measurement equipment such as colorimeters, pH and conductivity meters, wet titration, analytical balances, etc.

  • Conducting accurate data collection and analysis.

  • Other duties as assigned
